Year of registration: Janvier 2024

Thesis Summary :
Brief interventions have been proven effective in preventing suicidal behaviour, particularly through the implementation of safety plans. Although effective, their mechanisms need to be explored to understand them better. This thesis project aims to study the underlying mechanisms of brief interventions, specifically one intervention: the safety plan.
Having worked as a nurse in psychiatry and mental health for approximately ten years, including in psychiatric emergencies and suicide prevention, he is currently involved in research projects with the Centre de Prévention du Suicide team led by Prof. E. Poulet and Dr E. Leaune. In 2020, funding was secured for the PROTECT study (NCT05609487), which aims to evaluate the effectiveness of safety plans in preventing suicidal behavior in emergency situations. He has a master's degree in public health and is currently engaged in his doctoral studies (public health) in the RESHAPE laboratory.
