Project description:
The SANTE project (Solidarity, physical Activities, NovelTy and studEnts) aims to improve the mental health and physical health of students through the practice of physical activity. It particularly targets students in Sports Sciences as well as those in Medicine. Actions and events will be organized to encourage interactions between these participants. A program of social activities based on physical activity and adapted to the students’ needs will be put in place. The impact of this program on the mental and physical health of students will be evaluated.

This project will enable the creation of a customized physical activity program that meets the specific needs of university students.

This project is composed of three main steps:

--> Individual interviews to understand students' relationship to health and identify the obstacles to practicing physical activity.
--> Focus groups with students and professionals to assess the needs and available resources and to co-construct the physical activity intervention.
à Intervention : Implementation of the physical activity intervention during the 2024-2025 school year: randomized controlled trial
