- Cyrille Colin: "Telehealth in diabetes".
Telehealth covers tele-medicine and all uses of teletransmission, whether or not they involve a relationship with a doctor. The growth of telehealth is considerable and the number of studies devoted to it is increasing. In chronic diseases and in diabetes in particular, telediagnosis, telemonitoring, tele-assessment and the numerous distance activities: therapeutic education, prevention and lifestyle hygiene, have gradually changed professional practice and organizations. How can we evaluate these new forms of organization of care? How can we avoid the hypothesis of enthusiasm? This is the purpose of this presentation.
