Etude IDEA
The IDEA study is a multicenter RCT (Lyon, Strasbourg, Versailles, Brussels) which aimed to assess the superiority of a behavioral intervention for children with autism, called Denver (from the American Early Start Denver Model-ESDM), compared to an intervention usually proposed in the community. 180 children with ASD were included and randomized by minimization into 2 groups: a group of 60 children who received ESDM 12 hours per week and a group of 120 children who received usual CEP. The results for the primary endpoint do not allow us to conclude that there is efficacy, but we will also present the results for the secondary endpoints and discuss these results. These results call into question the recommendations of the HAS 2010 in France but go in the recent direction of part of the current international literature.
